- Click in the Search bar at the top of the Outlook window and select "Current Mailbox" to the left of it.
- In the Search bar, type a word or phrase unique to the message you are looking for and press the Enter key.
- Double click the desired message in the search results to open it in a separate window.
- Press Ctrl-Shift-F to open the Advanced Find window and then click the "Browse..." button. The message's location in the folder tree will be highlighted.
