If you receive a message an email message that looks in any way suspicious, do not click on any link for follow any request or instructions in the message.  Then contact the sender of the message by phone (not by email) to verify that he or she actually sent it.  If the person or organization did send it then you can assume it is safe. If not, delete it immediately!
